You are invited to join together to get ready for childbirth with a Birthing from Within Extra-ordinary Childbirth Preparation class. We will spend this time to Validate, Motivate, Educate, Initiate and Celebrate the upcoming birth of your baby and your transition into parenthood!
Birthing From Within: an Extraordinary Approach to Childbirth is a book by Pam England, midwife and founder of the Birthing From Within organization which trains childbirth mentors and doulas to assist parents to prepare for birth experientially.

Mama's Casa is also now proudly offering Pink Kit presentations. The Pink Kit Method for Birthing Better™ is a set of written/video/audio resources that guide you through some simple and extrememly effective exercises in preparation for the birth of your baby. Presentations are led by certified Pink Kit Presenters Alissa and Juana Catalan.

Register online for any session using a simple web form. Sessions meet in Deerfield, IL unless otherwise specified with new sessions beginning regularly. Write or call Alissa at (847)924-1790 for more information. Private and group sessions are available in both English & Spanish.

Birthing From Within style Childbirth Preparation
* 12+ hours of group preparation plus a reunion meeting *
In these prenatal groups we focus on preparing the mind and spirit rather than on any particular birth outcome. We prepare expecting parents for the birth of a new baby and for birth into parenthood through a mix of interactive activities. Classes are usually 1-3 couples and limited to a maximum of 6 couples. Cost is $250 per couple and includes a Keepsake Journal .

An Introduction to the Pink Kit
* a 3 hour presentation *
If you'd like an in person experience of what the Pink Kit has to offer, this is the taste test for you. Presentation cost is $175 per couple and includes a Pink Kit Package - a complete Pink Kit plus the Companion Guide and Managing Skills. This page describes the presentation in detail.
